Position Overview
The Die Designer is responsible for designing and developing dies used in manufacturing processes. This role requires collaboration with engineers and production teams to create efficient and high-quality die designs that meet production specifications and enhance manufacturing productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop dies for various manufacturing processes including stamping, molding, and casting.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to understand requirements and constraints for die designs.
- Create detailed die specifications and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize die performance and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in die design.
- Maintain documentation for die designs and modifications throughout the production process.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Die Designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software and die design tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
