POSITION SUMMARY:

The Editor assists in the creation of assets for a major financial brand, specifically in the insurance category, as an editor and writer. The editor also helps to create and manage work in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and is a key contributor to the overall content creation process. This role reports to the Creative Director.

For this remote role, we are currently accepting candidates residing in the following states - NC, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ME, MI, NJ, NY, OR, SC, TN, TX, VT. This is a temporary full-time role expected to last from 3/31/2025-12/31/2025.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create, write, and edit digital product landing pages on an e-commerce website. The work will be done in AEM.
  • Line edit (first pass) of copy and assets before forwarding to top editor; R1, R2
  • Develop subject matter expertise for designated account
  • Use insights provided by strategy team to help shape content that addresses specific audience and their needs
  • Know and apply SEO best practices to all creative assets
  • Engage regularly with workflow tool
  • Understand, follow, and champion brand guidelines for all assigned work

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field

Experience:

3-5 years of experience as an editor in a fast-paced environment. Working at a content/media agency and working in a digital environment are highly preferred. Prior experience with financial or insurance content a plus, as is previous experience with AEM.

Skills:

  • Proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and workflow tool
  • Must be able to collaborate
  • Exceptional writing/edit skills and a high attention to detail
  • Ability to curate, create and publish content from start to finish
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Organized self-starter and independent worker
  • Understanding of compliance requirements related to financial and insurance content
  • Deep understanding of the emotional and tactical needs for target audiences, channels, and platforms

  • The salary for this position will range from $47,500 - $60,000 ($64,125-75,000 in NYC/CA) depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.
