Legal Writer - Miami Job at Soni Resources in Miami

Soni is currently seeking multiple full-time Legal Writers to provide writing support to a premier Law Firm in Miami, FL. As a Legal Writer, you will be responsible for working with attorneys and the legal team on writing projects related to business immigration cases. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree (Bar license is not required) and a background in creative writing or journalism.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write complex, compelling, and relevant content for cases/petitions to government entities.
  
  
• Work closely with attorneys on writing projects and ensure accuracy of all information.
  
  
• Proofread and edit case materials/content.
  
  
• Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case status to supervisor.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree and/or Masters in Creative Writing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  
  
• 3+ years of experience of relevant experience in Legal Writing.
  
  
• Business Immigration experience preferred, not required.
  
  
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills are required.

Compensation: $50,000 - 75,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
