Summary
The Writing Lab teaching assistant will lead staffers in The Writing Lab to ensure that operations of the Lab run smoothly. Responsibilities will involve greeting and helping students and completing clerical duties. The Writing Lab teaching assistant will follow the guidance of the Department Chair for English and Humanities.
Essential Functions
1. Answering incoming calls and emails.
2. Welcoming individuals who enter the lab.
3. Assisting students with the check-in and check-out process.
4. Helping students with writing assignments.
5. Promoting the services in The Writing Lab.
6. Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Qualifications

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Computer literacy
•Ability to maintain confidentiality
