Position purpose The Mechanical Designer creates mechanical fabrication drawings and documents for our heater department. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Review project requirements Produce 3D drawings based on specs Interact with sales and project engineering to resolve questions Revise drawings to meet customer final requirements Create BOM and do calculations to ensure accuracy Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent in drafting/design Minimum 3-5 years experience Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 2016 Ability to read drawings, as well as P& ID Knowledge of ASME code Demonstrated ability to read and understand specifications
