How You’ll Make an Impact

As the Content Marketing Manager, you will help develop and execute Soundstripe’s content strategy, ensuring it drives engagement and supports marketing goals. Reporting to the Product Marketing Director, you’ll oversee an editorial calendar covering blog content, social media, email, PR, and events, collaborating with demand generation, lifecycle marketing, and numerous cross-functional teams to bring stories to life in multiple formats across many different channels.

What You’ll Do

  1. Maintain a content calendar for our blog, social media, PR, events, and any other organic channels we may activate in the future.
  2. Collaborate with music, product, sales, and other teams to ensure content is relevant, accurate, and credible.
  3. Manage contractors (e.g., writers and videographers) to uphold quality, brand alignment, and consistency and keep projects on track & in budget.
  4. Write or edit copy as needed for articles, social media posts, web pages, and so on.
  5. Partner with Demand Generation and Lifecycle Marketing Managers to create content for email, ads, and campaigns, adapting for various audiences and stages of the customer journey.
  6. Work with the Creative Lead to develop social media content.
  7. Use analytics tools to measure performance and refine strategy.

What You Bring to the Table

  1. 5+ years of content marketing experience, including strategy and production.
  2. A portfolio demonstrating your storytelling ability, attention to detail, and experience adapting to different brand voices and audience needs across a variety of content formats including articles, videos, social posts, and emails.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices and the changing search landscape (e.g., AI chatbots).
  4. Experience using research and analytics tools such as SEMRush, SparkToro, Google Analytics 4, and HubSpot to improve content performance.
