Investment Content Writer Job at Selby Jennings in New York

Our client is a $200bn multi-strategy investment manager with channels in wealth management, traditional investments, and alternative investments. They are looking for a creative and strategic thinker who can transform complex investment and economic concepts into engaging and accessible content for investors at the institutional, RIA, and individual level. Key Responsibilities:

• Craft diverse content: articles, whitepapers, videos, podcasts, sales materials, presentations, and social media posts.
• Collaborate with investment, product, and distribution teams to gather insights and create compelling marketing and sales content.
• Generate innovative ideas for materials that highlight our unique product messages.
• Tailor messages for different regions and audiences to support global content needs.
• Work with PR partners to draft byline articles and commentary for various regions.
• Communicate content plans and results to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in content marketing and investment writing.
• At least 5 years in asset management or related financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and economic themes.
• Experience marketing equity, fixed income, and alternative credit asset classes.
• Ability to create content in various formats (samples may be requested).
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Travel out-of-state 1-2 times per quarter to meet with broader sales teams in satellite offices
• Series 7 and/or Series 24 licenses preferred.
