Role Description

We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative Creative Director to lead key initiatives and strategic execution of marketing plans for a line of juvenile consumer products. This position will drive all aspects of the creative vision, overseeing the execution of photography, design, art, branding, interactive media, and digital content. The Creative Director will ensure the brand’s creative direction is maintained consistently across the organization, all while managing a high-performing creative team.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lakewood, NJ.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership: Manage a creative team, including hiring, performance management, training, and fostering team growth.
  • Brand Communication Strategy: Support communication strategies for the company brand, products, campaigns, events, retail partners, providers, and corporate initiatives.
  • Brand Campaign Development: Lead the development of brand campaigns from start to finish, ensuring creative assets are delivered for media launches, in coordination with both internal and external media teams.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of photography, video, graphics, advertisements, packaging, and other creative content that aligns with the brand's vision.
  • Executional Excellence: Prioritize day-to-day creative demands and larger projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and expectations are exceeded.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of dynamic brand/strategy experience in a consumer-focused organization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, including managing creative teams.
  • Proven experience in managing a successful consumer product brand, ideally within the juvenile products or similar industry.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics and other marketing metrics.
  • Knowledgeable in major content platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Creative & Brand Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of current creative trends.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a broad spectrum of creative positions, including brand strategy, design, art direction, photography, production, and digital content.
  • Proven ability to execute marketing plans with excellence and measurable impact.
  • Communication & Project Management Skills:
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management abilities, capable of prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and budget constraints.
