Base pay range $35.00/hr - $50.00/hr Part-Time Marketing Specialist (Southern California-Based) Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA ~15-25 Hours/Week | Hybrid (Remote + In-Person as Needed) This is a three-month, part-time contract role with the hope that it will turn into a long-term role. We're launching on April 1st and need a marketing powerhouse to help build our brand and audience. What You’ll Do Content & Social Media – Develop and execute engaging social content (Instagram, TikTok, email, etc.) Paid Ads & Performance Marketing – Manage and optimize Meta (FB/IG) and Google Ads to drive traffic & conversions Influencer & Partnership Outreach – Identify, pitch, and manage relationships with influencers and brand partners Email & SMS Marketing – Build out high-converting email/SMS flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, promos, etc.) SEO & Blog Strategy – Help with blog content strategy to boost organic search traffic Brand Storytelling & Launch Strategy – Shape our brand voice and execute creative campaigns leading up to and post-launch What We’re Looking For So Cal Based (occasional in-person work) 2+ years of experience in marketing ( beauty, skincare, or DTC e-commerce preferred ) Experience running and optimizing Meta & Google Ads Strong understanding of social media growth strategies (especially IG & TikTok) Comfortable handling influencer outreach & partnerships Experience with email/SMS marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Postscript, etc.) Someone scrappy, independent, and excited to help build a brand from the ground up Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($25-$50/hr) Bonus : Additional compensation for good photography skills and/or having access to photography studios.
