Client Relations
- Maintain day-to-day contact with clients with a holistic view of the business, contribute and lead portions of client planning and strategy, oversee IAT efforts, lead weekly status calls, attend client meetings and maintain client relationships.
- Oversee account management weekly: priorities for clients, agendas and weekly status updates/calls, reporting.
- Provide strategic POVs in writing and on calls, answering questions, drafting more complex memos and in real time.
- Proactively offer and successfully implement new ideas and solutions to meet client needs and drive projects forward.
- Lead internal and external communications strategies and programming to solve client's business challenges.
- Create action steps from meetings and recommended paths to achieve.
- Regularly engage and collaborate with internal agency partners: creative and strategy team, operations, and other third parties.
- Work closely with client's marketing, social media, and partnerships teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
- Mentor junior staff and have regular check-ins to ensure team is moving client work forward.
- Manage timelines, calendars and overall account support materials.
- Create and implement high-impact public relations activations to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the luxury market.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with luxury, fashion, hospitality, and lifestyle media, securing placements in top-tier publications (e.g., Vogue, Robb Report, Forbes, WSJ, Town & Country).
- Develop influencer plans, inclusive of vehicle loan strategic plans and drive forward to achieve KPIs.
- Identify and collaborate with celebrities and brand ambassadors to elevate brand presence.
- Monitor relevant media/stories and analyze, build and review media lists, craft compelling pitches and press materials - strong writing skills a must.
- Identify thought leadership opportunities and awards for client brand and executive team. Manage executive LinkedIn content. Draft strong messaging and Q&A's.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on PR campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage assigned PR/Marketing events (or a portion thereof), activations, and partnerships as applicable.
- Responsibilities associated with a project may include but are not be limited to: budget management, registration, managing guest travel, logistics planning, site selection, presentation development, working with the creative team on branding and graphic design, working with the production team on interactive/experiential technology, scenic/set design, décor design, staffing
- Strong discernment skills are required, as you will represent the company at events and make decisions on its behalf.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to participate in travel; approximately 25% expected.
- Oversee budgets, vendor invoices and support monthly billing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a professional environment within the public relations and/or communications industries. Lifestyle PR a plus.
- Strong media network with established relationships in the luxury, lifestyle, and business press.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing high-profile events and brand activations.
- Knowledge of digital PR, influencer marketing, and social media trends.
- Maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal staff and third parties.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is adaptable/flexible
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
