This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award.


Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support the Navy Analytic Studies Program as a Technical Writer. Support includes the use of modeling, simulation and analysis tools and techniques to support Navy’s performance of its analytic portfolio.


Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Draft, edit, and produce required products such as POA&M reports, raw analyses, analytic and technical progress reports, final reports, technical briefs and meeting minutes
  • Manage documentation on collaboration site
  • Conduct analytic support encompassing all aspects of joint campaign, mission, and engagement-level modeling, including manpower and personnel, training and education, infrastructure, long-term planning, policy, medical logistics planning, and both afloat and ashore readiness
  • Provide coordination across the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) staff, the Fleet, Systems Commands (SYSCOMs), Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Marine Corps and other Service Staffs, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) staff
Requirements:

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in the review and analysis of cost and schedule data
  • 5 years of experience in providing program managers with assessments and recommendations for the development of schedule and cost rational and integration into program spend plans
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Navy Operations Analysis billet
  • Familiarity with OPNAV organization, military rank structure, and terminology

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

Security Clearance:

  • Must possess an active SECRET Security Clearance
