With a strong focus on quality, customer experience, and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for executing and managing the day-to-day marketing operations at Redwood Outdoors. You will lead a team of four marketing professionals, ensuring that our established strategies are implemented effectively. The ideal candidate will excel in digital marketing, ecommerce, and executional tasks, with a strong ability to optimize marketing campaigns based on data and performance metrics. You also have worked in startup or high growth companies and are comfortable with the challenges and opportunities associated with frequent changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute marketing strategies developed by the executive team to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
- Manage ecommerce marketing execution, including SEO, SEM, paid social, and email marketing, ensuring continuous optimization and high performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, and customer support) to ensure consistent messaging and seamless customer engagement.
- Implement and optimize marketing campaigns based on data insights, adjusting tactics to meet or exceed targets.
- Maintain strong brand positioning by ensuring all marketing efforts align with Redwood Outdoors' values and customer expectations.
- Oversee marketing budgets and ensure campaigns are executed within budget while delivering a strong ROI.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with leadership to ensure alignment.
- Stay informed about emerging marketing technologies and trends to ensure execution is cutting-edge and competitive.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of marketing experience with a focus on ecommerce and digital marketing execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns in high-growth, smaller companies, or startup environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Experience working with marketing agencies and vendors to execute high-quality campaigns.
- Data-driven mindset with solid experience in analyzing performance metrics, customer segmentation, and campaign optimization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a focus on execution and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and teamwork-oriented mindset.
- A passion for wellness and an understanding of the wellness market is a plus.

Compensation:
As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into this position. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and education/certification(s).
- Base Salary Range: $150,778 - $190,025
- Comprehensive health benefits package including Regence medical, Delta Dental, VSP vision, life insurance coverage, and long-term disability - multiple plan options including fully-paid plans by Redwood Outdoors
