Job Description

This role is responsible for creating templates, backgrounds, and presentations incorporating information graphics, charts, metaphorical graphics, and diagrams for high-level clients. Primarily uses PowerPoint and secondly Adobe Creative Suite software. Presentations will range from RFPs to Company's pitches and any internal materials.

Saturday - Wednesday 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM


Responsibilities:

  1. Produce high-quality pitch books, presentations, and client memoranda
  2. Import and revise graphics files as necessary
  3. Create and edit multi-page/multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for pitchbooks, graphs, charts, presentations, and other print/design projects
  4. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics
  5. Collaborate with team members on complex or special projects
  6. Maintain all job and production tracking data via a proprietary RRD Tracking tool
  7. Coordinate workflow within the team, including prioritizing jobs and delegating duties to associates
  8. Monitor workflow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and within deadlines
  9. Assess incoming requests selecting the best resources for successful completion
  10. Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
  11. Train new employees on policies and procedures
  12. Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues
  13. Assist with monthly metrics and reporting
  14. May work with motion graphics and multimedia work

Qualifications

  1. Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends
  2. Capable of translating complex data in a visually compelling way
  3. Understands the importance of brand and can work within established standards
  4. Adaptability and willingness to pitch in where needed
  5. Ability to make independent decisions and use problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  7. Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  9. Deadline management which includes managing wait times and turnaround times (TAT)
  10. Bachelor's degree in area of business, or equivalent experience required
  11. At least 4 years of professional presentation or graphic design experience
  12. High proficiency knowledge of PowerPoint
  13. Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  14. Knowledge of After Effects is a huge plus
  15. Experience with charting in excel
  16. Video editing and/or sound editing skills are a plus
  17. Knowledge of print design a plus
  18. Financial industry experience is a plus

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $52,500 to $93,400 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
