Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

The EIC position is a multi-faceted, full-time position located in the greater Seattle, WA area. The employee will be responsible for maintaining and updating the equipment installed in a multicamera XR/AR studio, technical documentation, and integration of additional broadcast or Audio/Visual equipment needed on a show by show basis. The position requires a professional understanding of broadcast cameras, video switchers and a deep understanding of video and audio signal routing as well as a comprehensive understanding of networking. The employee will maintain the studio/facility according to the standards set forth by the Company. It is the policy of MeyerPro Inc. to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally. Employees are expected to perform all of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with this policy at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, and control system problems (ie. Ross, EVS, Sony, Disguise)
  • Professionally interact with clients and manage expectations
  • Communicate with account managers to ensure all technical options, equipment and labor related to production are correct
  • Meetings and phone calls with internal and external staff and clients regarding upcoming events
  • Work with and communicate respectfully the needs and procedures with internal and external staff
  • Maintain, configure, and repair equipment as needed; or facilitate RMA process.
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Ensure the quality of all equipment
  • Participate in the loading and unloading of equipment from delivery vehicles
  • Participate in set-up, operation and break-down of equipment for events

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an EIC position
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Trade show, technical school, or post High School training in an appropriate field may be substituted in whole or in part for the experience requirement above
  • Strong customer service with ability to self-manage
  • Excellent understanding of equipment within department
  • Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in pressure situations
  • Excellent working knowledge of common computer productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office
  • Must maintain a professional appearance
  • Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position; must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
