Our Editorial Team is looking for a Gaming News Editor to oversee Gaming News articles under the leadership of the Deputy Editor. Responsibilities:

  • Source, edit and publish articles for this team
  • Participate in writer development; including overseeing and facilitating writer communication in Slack and Asana, sending feedback to writers according to ScreenRant’s standards, work with new writers to develop their skills, and work with existing writers to further develop them internally
  • Develop content plans and idea generation
  • Keep on top of the latest Gaming News, launches, and developments in Gaming

This is a paid freelance and remote position. Our Editorial Team is looking for experienced writers to contribute to our Movies and TV Features content under the leadership of the Lead Editor. Responsibilities:

  • Write in ScreenRant’s house style following the training and peer mentorship period
  • Cover current and upcoming movies and TV shows
  • Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
  • Communicate actively with the Editorial Team

Must Have’s:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication
  • A broad working knowledge of the sector you’re applying for
  • A quick learner with a strong sense of urgency and drive
  • An excellent writer in the English language free of grammatical and spelling errors
  • The ability to write high quality articles with fast turnaround times
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
