Director of Marketing and Creative Strategy @ SolarPros

Position Overview:

In this role, you will manage our social platforms, create engaging campaigns, and take on photography and videography projects to bring our brand story to life. You’ll work on a variety of projects, including general brand shoots, gear store shoots, competition shoots, social media content, and event coverage. This is a hands-on role for someone who is both creative and technically skilled, with a passion for storytelling through visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Manage and create content calendars for all social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and others.
  • Write compelling captions, hashtags, and other copy to drive engagement and resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor analytics to measure content performance and refine strategies based on data insights.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a strong online community.

Photography:

  • Plan and execute photoshoots for events, products, and team members.
  • Edit and retouch photos to ensure they meet brand standards and project objectives.
  • Maintain and organize a library of images for social media and other marketing uses.

Videography:

  • Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality videos for social media campaigns, brand stories, and internal use.
  • Create innovative concepts and storyboards for video content.
  • Ensure all videos are optimized for various platforms, including vertical formats for TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Event Coverage:

  • Capture key moments during company events, sales competitions, and other activities.
  • Provide live or real-time content for social media during events.

Travel:

  • Be available to travel nationally and internationally to capture content for events, on-location shoots, and projects.
  • Have and maintain a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Travel up to 10 Days Per Month.
  • Manage logistics for transporting and maintaining photography and videography equipment while on the go.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  • Experiment with new formats, tools, and strategies to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Propose and implement creative campaigns to drive audience engagement and growth.
