The Role

Communicate orders and information between the front of house and back of house while making sure that food is cooked in correct order, efficiently and presented correctly to guests.

Responsibilities

  1. Communicate orders and information between the front of house and back of house while making sure that food is cooked in correct order, efficiently and presented correctly to guests.
  2. Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.
  3. Ensure that proper food temperatures are maintained, and items are accurately delivered.
  4. Responsible for safety standards, neatness, and sanitation of work areas.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including shelves, walls, floors, and drains.
  6. Participate as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation, excellent service, and delivery of product.
  7. Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.
  8. Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
  10. Lead the food runners and coordinate accurate delivery of orders.

  7. Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
  10. Must have two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.
  11. Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  12. Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  13. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training, and any additional job-specific safety training.
