Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory; or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving complex, cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex business challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
The Global News Partnerships Team brings a “one Google” face to the news ecosystem in order to source content used across Google product areas, provide critical support and funding to the ecosystem, drive adoption of Google products, and shape constructive regulation that is in the best interests of Google and the ecosystem.
The News Partnerships Strategy and Operations team are critical business partners in developing partnership strategies, building and aligning operating priorities, and driving global execution.
In this role, you will partner with the Global News Partnerships team to help us build and execute licensing, educational, and transformational programs across Google product surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Run core operational processes across News Partnerships (e.g., reporting, planning). Drive complex, cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership of select initiatives, managing project priorities and milestones to ensure successful delivery.
- Work with the News Partnerships (NP) team to align global and regional priorities. Identify and develop go-to-market strategies. Develop and drive execution of partnership strategies for our products and programs with the news industry.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of your business area, internal systems, processes, and industry trends to inform decision-making and guide strategic initiatives.
- Support strategic planning of News Partnerships’ efforts by providing day-to-day support for market approaches and negotiations, measuring and communicating the impact of strategies, coordinating with a variety of Google teams (e.g., Product, GAPP, Finance, Legal, and other GBO partnerships teams) and developing executive communications.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
