What you will accomplish:

  • Collaborate with design partners to create an intuitive and simplified end-to-end listing experience for sellers.
  • Partner closely with researchers to identify key opportunities for improvement along seller journeys.
  • Design user flows, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes to visualize the user experience.
  • Help plan and support research testing cycles in collaboration with lead user experience researchers to test and iterate design proposals.
  • Create design decks used to present your work at key milestones to align teams during design critiques and stakeholder reviews.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience as a lead digital product designer.
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar experience in Human-Computer Interaction or Communications Design/Graphic Design.
  • Outstanding digital portfolio demonstrating a range of strategic interaction design work across native apps and responsive web design, as well as expert-level craftsmanship applied to the fundamentals of UI and visual design (e.g., typography, layout, color, spacing, icons, etc.).
  • Expertise in collaborating with product owners, researchers, content designers, and engineers on large scale projects.
  • Self-starter and autonomous with hands-on experience leading through ambiguity to develop UX strategies and build alignment.
  • Experience mentoring other creatives and leading design critiques to advance projects while raising the level of craftsmanship across the team.
  • Experience with inventory management design teams and the future state product experience.
  • Experience in the native iOS and Android space, with familiarity in mobile phones and tablets.
  • Ability to work with small group product owners and engineers to build this experience.
  • Daily sync with partners to create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma.
  • Experience bringing ideas to life through code.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders and directors.
  • Comfortable with UX challenges, user needs, and workflows.
  • Support user researcher testing, with experience in design research.
