Sr. Engineer, UX/UI Product Designer

Max pay rate of $60/hour and bill rate of $76.20/hour

Remote to start, onsite once the site reopens. Must be local. Hours 9am - 5pm

Must haves on the resume:

  1. Have developed and delivered UI assets to development teams (Web, Android, iOS, WPF, Linux)
  2. Have experience working in both traditional project management and agile project management
  3. Have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  4. Be proficient with Axure RP9
  5. Be proficient with Office 365 apps (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
HS Diploma Required. Bachelor's Preferred. Ideally Engineering Related.

Client R&D UX/UI Product Designer will work on experiences for one of the most important domains of the healthcare system, managing the macro and micro levels of the pharmacy. Client is increasing the quantity, complexity, and scale of our cloud offerings. We need to empower and support our pharmacy admins, technicians, and buyers, by proactively letting them know when something needs their attention, and by making sure the experience meets their expectations for behavior and clarity.

Responsibilities:
  1. Be instrumental in defining the design direction of our cloud-based solutions.
  2. Influence the user experience of products used by pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and buyers as they do critical work.
  3. Help shape and craft a product that's simple and intuitive.
  4. Conduct research to discover problems, pain points, and user needs of the customer.
  5. Validate concepts using A/B tests and live results.
  6. Direct end user customer interactions such as user testing, or supporting customer concept feedback sessions.
  7. Design end-to-end user experiences and optimizations from early prototypes to final implementation.
  8. Contribute to the development of our product style guidelines and design system.
  9. Work on a tight-knit team alongside product managers and engineers, involved in the end-to-end design process from research and ideation to implementation and iteration.
  10. Collaborate with designers on your team, cross-functional teams across the company, as well as co-located teams from around the world, to build a vision, define principles and UI patterns.
  11. Collaborate with the product, engineering, data science, and marketing teams to develop a smooth user experience with high-end look and feel.
  12. Support processes and projects while always aiming to guide other designers and cross-functional teams to success.

  6. Be capable of crafting solutions that delight customers and deliver customer value within the timeframes of a project.

Qualifications:
  1. Have at least 2-4 years of experience designing a complex system/platform.
  2. Have a high level of written and spoken English.
  3. Have experience collaborating closely with R&D.
  4. Have developed and delivered UI assets to development teams (Web, Android, iOS, WPF, Linux).
  5. Have experience working in both traditional project management and agile project management.
  6. Have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  7. Be proficient with Axure RP9.
  8. Be proficient with Office 365 apps (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).

Preferred Experience:
  1. Have previous experience with healthcare or hospital systems.
  2. Exposure to SAFe product development.
  3. Experience authoring and applying design style guides.
  4. Be familiar with the dual-track agile product development process.
