Job Title: Technical Publications / Content Distribution (Web Developer)
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204 (On Site)
Pay range: $30-34/hour on W2 (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Contract Role
Shift: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Monday to Friday
Job Description:
The web developer is responsible for creating and maintaining multiple engaging websites, for mobile and desktop devices; as well as overseeing other hosted websites that serve target audiences.
They will be assigned websites that they will develop and maintain as updates are needed.
Each candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability.
Communications & Repro-Graphics - Technical Publications / Content Distribution Associate - Experienced Supports and performance planning, design, development, illustration, publication, and distribution of basic technical publications including technical procedures and manuals (including revisioning services).
Supports balloting process including rework cycles and coordinating with writing team members through final publication of documents onto the web.
Typically, has less than 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new websites using HTML, CSS, and PHP.
- Utilize Bootstrap 5 and/or other mobile responsive frameworks.
- Perform routine ongoing support and maintenance of existing websites.
- Complete special web projects, as needed.
- Maintain communication with team members and supervisor concerning the direction of the website.
- Work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Work with and animate large tables of data for ease of use and accessibility on mobile devices.
- Experience with GitHub.
Familiar with:
- Web crawlers
- Databases
