At TruView Insurance Group, we are looking for an individual to fill a key, influential role in helping expand our growing agency. As a Commercial Insurance Producer / Agent, this individual will be responsible for driving new business sales revenue growth of commercial business clients. Additionally, this role will have direct collaboration with ownership and management on implementation of new products, procedures, and technologies in order to impact our customers and team members in a positive way.

As an outside sales position, this individual will spend a significant portion of their time selling outside of the office. However when they're not out in the field visiting prospects and clients, the individual will have the flexibility to work either at our home office or from home.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve new business and renewal sales goals on an annualized basis
  • Generate sufficient sales pipeline activity volume to support achievement of sales goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and overcome sales obstacles.
  • Positively and proactively represent TruView Insurance in meetings, seminars, trade shows and networking events.
  • Work collaboratively with the account management team to maximize results.
  • Collaborate with management in the implementation of new products, procedures, services, and technologies
  • Foster positive relationships with carriers and vendors
  • Willingness to develop your insurance expertise and leadership skills

Requirement

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and verifiable career achievement
  • 2+ years insurance experience in a sales related capacity
  • Candidates that have one or more specific industries that they have strong and broad relationships and / or experience are STRONGLY PREFERRED
  • Current Property & Casualty License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows products
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to embrace and use new technologies
  • Driven, problem solving, communicative, empathetic, positive personality with a growth mindset and strong attention to detail
