Apple
Summary
The Apple Services Engineering team is one of the most exciting examples of Apple's long-held passion for combining art and technology. These are the people who power the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Fitness+ and Apple Books. We are in search of a highly-motivated, experienced self-starter to drive Music & Podcast projects. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves collaborating with diverse teams, and values building strong, authentic relationships. This is a hands-on position where the Program Manager will not only help gather project requirements, drive the schedule and hold technical discussions, but will also drive reporting and leadership communication at a program-level. This is not a task-based job; you will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery.
Strong fundamentals are a requirement, but you have more. You take responsibility; you feel a personal stake in the projects you are delivering under your program; you communicate responsibilities and scope clearly, you thrive in uncertainty and strive to bring order to it; you have deep wisdom and judgment; you build positive relationships; you are aware of politics but do not get mired in them; you are constantly looking to improve yourself and your team; and you ship code which millions of customers will use.
Description
This position requires an individual who will:
* Drive and ship Music and Podcast projects to support customer facing features as well as internal tools.
* Lead multiple concurrent projects, managing scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation, stakeholder management, reporting, and risk assessments.
* Work on cross-functional projects with multi-functional schedules across the Apple ecosystem.
* Foster a collaborative environment and lead by example with a focus on excellence, inclusivity, and compassion, while also being process-oriented and striving for efficiency.
* Build relationships and bring people together across Apple Services Engineering and partner teams.
