Job Description
As a Director, Creative at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you are here to lead the creative vision for our social media initiatives. You'll manage a team of creative professionals, responsible for delivering innovative high quality content that engages and excites our fans. Reporting into the Senior Director, Social Strategy, you will play an integral role on the Social team as well as the broader FBG Marketing department.
Responsibilities
*Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $188,000 to $250,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed). Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics Holdings Inc., a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to nearly 93% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Reporting into the Senior Director, Social Strategy, you will play an integral role on the Social team as well as the broader FBG Marketing department.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the creative vision for social media campaigns, ensuring content aligns with brand strategy and resonates with fans
- Oversee the creative development of social campaigns, from concept and vision to execution, that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and foster fan loyalty
- Partner with both internal and external teams to continuously ideate and execute best-in-class creativity and vision
- Lead, inspire, and manage a creative team, providing mentorship and professional development to ensure team growth and success
- Review and refine FBG creative assets for social media
- Run multiple creative work streams and competing priorities in an efficient and organized manner
- Stay up to date on new trends, techniques and technologies in order to continuously explore new approaches
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in creative marketing roles, art direction or related positions
- Ability to conceptualize and execute creatively impactful ideas that resonate with customers
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms
- Expert knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build relationships
- Experience in the sports or entertainment industries preferred
- Knowledge of current trends, regulations, and best practices in the betting and gaming sector is a plus
- Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings
