Salary/Wage Range
$80,000 - $95,000 / year

Job Summary: Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist to join our team on the publisher side of the digital advertising ecosystem. In this role, you will focus on optimizing our ad tech stack, managing programmatic operations, and troubleshooting issues within our ad delivery infrastructure. This position is not client-facing or developer-oriented but requires deep expertise in advertising technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize header bidding and pre-bid setups, ensuring high yield and low latency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ad calls, resolving discrepancies and errors in ad delivery.
- Maintain and enhance the ad tech stack, including Google Ad Manager (GAM), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Campaign Manager 360.
- Analyze and optimize waterfall setups for maximum revenue efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper implementation of tags and ad units.
- Work closely with DSPs, SSPs, and other programmatic partners to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights from ad performance data to enhance monetization strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies within the programmatic landscape.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in advertising technology, with a focus on programmatic operations.
- Expertise in Google Ad Manager, Google Tag Manager, and Campaign Manager 360.
- Hands-on experience with header bidding (e.g., Prebid.js) and waterfall management.
- Strong understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, and ad exchanges.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot ad-related errors and discrepancies.
- Familiarity with key performance metrics and reporting in programmatic advertising.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working on the publisher side of the ad ecosystem.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (helpful but not required).
- Certification in Google Ad Manager or Campaign Manager 360 is a plus.
