Job Title: Director Product Management and Design

Location: Initial Remote / San Francisco, CA 94105 Duration: Contract This job partners with the core business and functional leaders to define product strategy and help execute the product roadmap vision by fully understanding the customer and his/her needs, identifying solutions for addressing those needs, and bringing those solutions to life through technology. You must have experience in leading planning, resource management, project lifecycles, and workflows. Job Description:
Develops and champions a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for all key moments in a customer experience. Initiates technical programs by leading alignment on program scope, release planning, aligning one or more teams on vision, business goals, creating program structure, and securing cross-functional support. Leads workgroup alignment meetings to make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues. Be the key driver to ensure business goals are met and support the strategic vision of each program. Develops strong partnerships with functional leaders to drive focus on business objectives. Be a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success. Provides visibility to program status (key decisions, release/production issues, dependencies, risks, metrics milestones, etc.) on an ongoing basis through push status reporting. Manages "program/feature" dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders. Anticipates and aggressively removes obstacles that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering on project goals. Required Skills:

Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity, and a bias toward actions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to clearly present written information and findings. BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience. 8-10 years of experience working with product, design, and software engineering teams. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing products or design. A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects. Experience building software technologies and products at scale.
