The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
LinkedIn Marketing Solutions is seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to help drive LinkedIn’s advertising business through objective analysis, operational insights, financial forecasting, and strategic initiatives. In this role you will partner with our R&D and product organization responsible for the LinkedIn Ads Marketplace, to help define key priorities and product strategy, set financial goals and targets, and understand & optimize product performance. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable and skilled at crafting a thoughtful plan, and rolling up their sleeves to get it done. We are looking for someone who excels at driving execution across multiple senior stakeholders, demonstrates strong ownership to dig deep into highly technical and complex areas to drive impact, and is highly analytical with strong financial and business acumen.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth analysis of the business and develop deep understanding of key value drivers for the Ads ecosystem to identify improvement areas and opportunities. Partners with R&D and Product leaders to identify new opportunities for growth within a scope and supports strategy development with business partners. Validates and executes pressure testing of growth opportunities. Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members. Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance. Synthesizes problems and communicates effectively to support decision-making (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives). Manage performance: Define key metrics, forecast and build models for performance, establish goals, and identify / diagnose / resolve performance issues. Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business/corporate questions, deriving actionable insights from results. Proactively identifies obstacles and works to unblock them with minimal support. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in the technology industry. 2+ years of experience with SQL. 1+ years of experience with Excel modeling and demonstration of critical thinking—ability to question the output of a model and consider options for improvement. Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Suggested Skills
Financial Acumen Data Analysis Problem Solving Forecasting Strategic Thinking LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $96,000 - $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
