Job Description: As a Junior Interior Designer at Gina Holz Designs, you will play a vital role in contributing to the success of our high-profile interior design projects. You will work under the guidance of senior design professionals to create luxurious and distinctive spaces that meet and exceed our clients' expectations. Your creative input and attention to detail will be instrumental in curating a blend of calming and dramatic spaces for our esteemed clientele. This position is part-time in our Melrose Ave. office, with the possibility to grow to full-time. A STRONG TECHNICAL BACKGROUND IS NECESSARY FOR THIS ROLE. Key Responsibilities: Space Planning: Contribute to space planning, layout design, and furniture placement to optimize functionality and aesthetics. 3D Rendering: Create 3D renderings and presentation materials to communicate design ideas effectively to clients and team members. Documentation: Assist in preparing construction documents, specifications, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the project management team to ensure projects are executed efficiently, meeting deadlines and budgets. Quality Control: Maintain a keen eye for detail, reviewing project progress and finished work to ensure the highest standards of quality are met. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve your skills and contribute to the firm's success. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, or construction, or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years experience in a small to midsize professional service firm. Strong experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Google Workspace. Knowledge of Studio Designer is a plus. A proficient level of experience in interior design concepts such as space planning, furniture, fixtures, and product research. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of FF&E and furniture specifications. Strong understanding of space planning, millwork, etc. Ability to complete work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a team player. Skilled problem solver.
