Part-Time Social Media & Content Creator

Position: Part-Time (W-9 Contractor)
Reports to: Communication Manager
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid Will be needed for some in-person events)
Compensation: $2,000/month

The Equity Alliance (TEA) is looking for aSocial Media & Content Creator to manage and create engaging content for TEAs social media platforms. This role will focus on real-time posting, rapid response messaging, and growing TEAs digital presence across X, Instagram, and Facebook.

Responsibilities

• Create and post content across TEAs social media platforms.
• Develop and edit short-form video content, including Instagram Reels.
• Monitor and engage with TEAs online community in real time.
• Ensure TEA is present in key conversations through rapid response posting.
• Maintain brand consistency in all social media communications.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies.
• Experience creating and editing Reels and short-form video content.
• Strong writing skills for captions, rapid response messaging, and content strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and post quickly when needed.
• Experience in advocacy, grassroots organizing, or movement-based communications preferred.
