Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Community Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a positive coworking experience for our members by assisting the Community Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, fostering an engaging community, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also oversee the management of the community mailroom, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of mail and packages.
Core Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Operations:
- Assist the Community Manager in overseeing the overall operations of the coworking facility.
- Greet and welcome visitors, provide tours, and onboard new members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, promoting collaboration and networking.
- Coordinate events, workshops, and networking activities to foster community engagement.
- Respond to member inquiries, providing timely and helpful support.
- Manage member accounts, including billing, invoicing, and membership renewals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing workspace.
- Address and resolve member concerns, ensuring high member satisfaction.
- Assist in marketing efforts to attract new members and increase occupancy.
- Collaborate with the team to implement policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance the coworking experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure the facility remains competitive.
Mailroom Management:
- Receive, process, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Coordinate with courier services for outgoing shipments.
- Notify members of package arrivals and arrange for pick-up or delivery.
- Assist members with mail-related inquiries or issues.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the mailroom area.
- Implement and enforce mailroom policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on postal regulations to ensure compliance.
Key Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for creating a supportive and collaborative community.
- Knowledge of marketing and event planning is a plus.

Requirements
