Schedule: This is a Monday through Friday position from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. shift

Job Description: V&V Supremo Foods, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and creative Culinary Content Creator to join our marketing team. This role blends culinary expertise with media production, offering a unique opportunity to engage with our food community through innovative recipes, videos, and cooking demonstrations.

The Culinary Content Creator will be responsible for researching popular trends for preparing and presenting dishes on camera, contributing to recipe development, tastings, and other kitchen-related duties. This individual will collaborate closely with the Kitchen staff and studio team in all stages of content development, including script writing, voice-overs, and video production. Off-camera responsibilities may include kitchen setup, recipe research, and development to ensure seamless production and outstanding content delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Research, develop and refine recipes, with a focus on using V & V Supremo products.
  • Conduct tastings, learning new cooking techniques, and providing professional feedback.
  • Work with the Executive Chef to develop culinary knowledge and techniques to effectively share with the food community.
  • Prepare for pre-taping rehearsals by:
  • Conducting cooking research.
  • Reviewing video script bullet points.
  • Practicing cooking techniques.
  • Familiarizing with new equipment.
  • Set up the kitchen for video and live presentations.
  • Conduct rehearsals and test equipment to ensure readiness for on-camera presentations.
  • Develop and revise scripts, outlines, and recipes for market-specific/tailored productions.
  • Collaborate with the studio media team throughout all stages of content development, including:
  • Script writing.
  • Voice-overs.
  • Video production.
  • Prepare and present dishes on camera for video/audio recordings and live demonstrations.
  • Educate and inspire audiences by sharing culinary techniques and product applications during cooking demonstrations.
  • Ensure seamless production and deliver high-quality content.
Performance Metrics:
  • Recipe development.
  • Production schedule.
  • # of Video/Audio recordings produced.
  • # of Takes.
  • Successful marketing initiatives.
Necessary Skills-Experience:
  • 5 years of experience with food preparation.
  • Comfortable in front of a camera/audience.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and recipe development.
  • Sanitation certificate.
  • Knowledge of Mexican meat & dairy products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Eye for visual layout and color.
  • Some food styling experience preferred.
  • Familiar with Chicago and surrounding suburbs preferred.
  • Work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Word and Internet.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Able to travel on occasion.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
