Job Summary:
The Creative Designer will be part of Lowe’s Global Marketing Team based out of Bangalore. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Creative Manager, collaborating with Copywriters and Producers to create design collateral for various marketing channels. The creative designer works well individually as well as collaborates with the team to design creatives that are within the brand guidelines and fulfill business needs. They are responsible for owning creative brief execution in alignment with business strategy and bringing in fresh and new ideas to the table. They are responsible for the whole creative production process and expected to lead it to a perfect execution with minimal flags or errors raised by stakeholders. The creative designer works on channels like email, digital displays, social media, print media, and assists senior and lead designers on different projects based on complexity.
The candidate will require good communication skills to understand requirements accurately and present their concepts confidently to partners. In the course of their work, they should develop an understanding of the American retail industry and cultural nuances.
The suitable candidate should be a good team player, self-motivated and bring in fresh concepts that can elevate the enterprise brand communication creatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
- Experience in designing digital assets for various channels – social, display, and emails.
- Developing a deep understanding of the Lowes brand guidelines and being able to create designs that are consistent with the brand style guide.
- Experience working with templates and showcasing efficiency and error-free delivery. Good attention to detail is a must.
- Provide diverse solutions that work best for the brand and align with the strategy and brief.
- Take accountability for work and work with minimum supervision over a period of time.
- Strong presentation and communication skillset to present to senior leadership in India and the US.
- Work within Workfront for job workload management.
- Have flexibility to move through different projects and adhere to timelines.
- Can do basic animation on marketing creatives.
- Have experience working for retail and advertising.
Years of Experience:
- 2-4 years in a similar role preferably in a design studio, advertising agency, or retail organization.
Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- A design school graduate or equivalent with experience in a similar design role.
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have):
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design in diverse domains in digital and print.
- Demonstrated understanding of design/color applied in layout, design, and image composition.
- Software expertise – FIGMA, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, MS PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills – written and spoken.
Secondary Skills (desired):
- Familiarity with Mac interface and OS.
- Presentation softwares.
- Experience working with US stakeholders.
