Design Thinking Strategist (Design Thinking, Empathy, Human-Centered Design)
Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid - 3x on site and 2x remote
Pay Rate: $65-75/hr. W2
Qualifications & Description:
Tactical Responsibilities:
- Lead problem framing to ensure problems are effectively articulated and prioritized.
- Create strategy, execute and synthesize research to inform business strategy and drive decisions based on user research insights.
- Help business partners craft strategic vision and test business ideas to reduce risk.
- Ensure consistent experience across products, including user research efforts and interaction design.
- Assist with determining scope and validating assumptions for solutions.
- Coordinate with designers on execution of product vision to ensure user satisfaction.

Required Education:

Job Description:
In this role, you will serve as a human-centered design leader, helping product and project teams discover new possibilities and business efficiencies. You will work with talented UX/UI designers to ensure the design aligns with user research findings and follows UX best practices. You will also coach and mentor product teams in human-centered design practices.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as primary design consultant and creative strategy leader for project teams and stakeholders.
- Create human-centered designs by gathering customer needs and building delightful user experiences.
- Connect with various project and product teams to improve business efficiencies and employee experiences.
- Demonstrate expertise in user research and develop strategies for all touchpoints to create holistic experiences.
- Understand users, business, and technology to identify opportunities and connect requirements.
