Who We Are
Beacon Associates is a leading financial advisory firm dedicated to client relationships and engagement. We host various events, from educational workshops to client appreciation gatherings, and we need a dedicated Part-Time Event Planner and Marketing Technician to coordinate and execute these events seamlessly as well as lead the execution of all marketing efforts from awareness to referral.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic, and creative individual who thrives in planning and executing engaging events. You should have experience in marketing, sales, or event management, enjoy interacting with people, and be comfortable working evenings and weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Coordination – Organize and manage educational workshops, appreciation events, and networking gatherings.
- Marketing Management – In addition to event management, all marketing efforts for Beacon will be held in this position. This includes management of the marketing vendors that currently support the business.
- Logistics & Vendor Management – Manage budgets, coordinate and host events, maintain all regular marketing efforts.
- Data Analysis - Track KPIs of the customer journey including closing rates, event ROI, funnel analysis, etc.
- Client Engagement & Communications – Oversee invitations, RSVP tracking, and guest experience.
- On-Site Event Execution – Be present at events, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
- Marketing & Promotions – Assist in developing promotional content for social media, emails, and outreach.
- Strategic Branding of New Event Space – Help establish the event space’s identity separate from Beacon Associates to attract broader participation.
- Relationship Building – Foster relationships with vendors, speakers, and guests to enhance event success.
- Continuous Improvement – Analyze event success and gather feedback for future improvements including the implementation of AI tools.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or sales.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for trying new event ideas.
- Experience with social media, event management software, and CRM systems.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Genuine enthusiasm for hosting and engaging with people.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, hospitality, or corporate events.
- Knowledge of direct response marketing or community outreach.
- Previous work with high-end client experiences.
