Mathis Brothers Furniture is hiring: GRAPHIC DESIGNER in Oklahoma City

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER:

• Receive work orders, prioritize workload based on deadline and Graphics Team Manager decisions.
• Communicate with customers and other departments for additional information required for a project. Must be persistent!
• Provide rough concept options. Request, revise, and get approval from Graphics Team Manager and customer.
• Proceed with producing the final content.
• Outsource print production to local production facilities and have them deliver, and install in some cases, assets to our customers.
• Deliver all digital assets to the teams responsible for posting the creative content. Receive constructive feedback and direction from Graphics Team Manager.
• Do not miss the deadline. (In-store display signs, digital billboards, newspaper ads, magazine ads, hang signs, web ads, email ads, etc.).

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Producing accurate and high-quality work; ability to handle multiple projects at once; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; expert knowledge of the latest computer packages used for graphic design; graphic designers must have outstanding communication skills, they must be able to communicate visually, verbally, and in writing; ability to meet tight deadlines.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 5 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled environment.
