The Role:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for implementing the Stila creative vision across platforms and retailers. This role will work closely with internal cross-functional teams to translate key marketing messages and strategy into innovative visual communication to consumers.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials that promote, support and build the Stila brand; this includes but is not limited to high level, holistic marketing campaigns (print, in-store, direct mail, social/digital, email, visual merchandising), interactive online content, branding and event marketing.
- Create digital assets (static, video, and HTML) for a range of platforms including email templates, social media, and promotional artwork.
- Work on detailed file building for global Visual Merchandising Units. Own the project from the design to the final production-ready files.
- Bring fresh ideas and approaches to design and have excellent typographic skills with great attention to detail.
- Work cross-functionally with digital, social and product teams to ideate, execute and optimize best-in-class creative.
- Develop effective, on-brand creative assets that are digital/mobile first that align with the consumer journey.
- Ensure that your creative solution fulfills the strategic vision devised by the team into effective visual communication that helps drive sales and marketing results.
- Own creation of gifs, animations, videos, etc for creative needs as required.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and digital standards.
- Collaborate with Creative, Production, Retouching, Video Editors, Merchandising, freelance contractors and outside vendors throughout process on all projects.
- Ensure consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
- Review product positioning and online marketing content to identify room for improvement.
- Work with the ecommerce team to oversee the smooth implementation of newest content across owned and 3rd party ecomm platforms such as Amazon, Ulta and Sephora.
- Provide guidance on technicalities in relation to aesthetic for campaigns, projects, and promotional events.
- Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
- Test assets and optimize based on their performance.
- Iterate new designs based on user feedback.
- Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely digital innovation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience working in digital graphic design, marketing, branding.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field.
- Excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Well-versed in the digital world and brings new ideas to the table.
- Proficient experience with social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook etc.
- Retail creative marketing or agency experience preferred.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages time well, and consistently hits deadlines.
- Be a team player.
- Passion for makeup, and lifestyle brands.
- Portfolio is a must to apply.
