SUMMARY
The Social Media Coordinator assists the Marketing Director and Social Media Manager with all social media marketing for 2B Residential and its portfolio of communities. This position works closely with the on-site community teams and Regional managers to ensure designated social media outlets have consistently branded and engaging content.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SOCIAL MEDIA PLANS & TIMELINES
- Support the Social Media Manager on social media package planning with various levels of services provided for new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with marketing team, regional management and on-site teams to determine the best social media package for each managed community based upon budget constraints, occupancy and market conditions.
- Ensure timelines are being met or adjusted accordingly.
PLATFORM MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for managing assigned social media platforms.
- Ensure applicable users are connected to social media accounts.
- Assists with creating new accounts, transferring existing accounts and coordinating offloading of all social media accounts as needed.
- Support the Social Media Manager in determining which social media channels to utilize for each client.
SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS & CONTENT
- 4-5 posts per month for 31 community accounts.
- Create relevant posts, for example difficult to lease floorplans, resident events, etc.
- Responsible for posting to designated profiles in adherence to their selected social media package.
- Assist with capturing/filming, editing, and posting content (including reels) for designated properties in adherence to their selected social media package.
- Supports the Social Media Manager with creating and managing social media ads.
COMMUNICATION
- Regularly communicates with other marketing team members, regional management, and on-site teams to ensure social media presence for designated profiles is relevant, engaging, and billed appropriately.
- Coordinates occasional visits to communities and their onsite teams for gathering content. Travel outside of the St. Louis, MO area may be advised 1-5 times throughout the year.
BEST IN CLASS
- Op Research to keep a pulse on the State of Social Media in regard to the multi-family industry.
- Brand standard audits of all utilized social media channels for accuracy in content, negative comments, and overall look and appearance of channel.
- Ensure platform management tools are the most effective for our portfolio.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads our Pet of the Month program company-wide; creating posts, supporting flyers and email updates.
- Performs monthly expense reporting for designated communities for social media related expenses.
- Participates in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
- Complies with all Company standards, where applicable.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Canva, Ads Manager, social ad creation, and professional content generation (including graphics, photos and reels) is a must.
- Links to previous examples of social media related work experience recommended.
