Job Summary:
Provides multimedia project direction and executes the shooting, editing, and final format, including planning and management of project timelines. Creates compelling multimedia content that can be published across College of Business communications channels including but not limited to social media, website, newsletter, alumni magazine, news releases and other materials. Assists in content strategy recommendations based on information content analysis.
- Executes, independently, photography and video production processes including the shooting, editing, and final delivery of produced content. This includes the planning and management of project timelines and budgets.
- Produces written content about programs, faculty, students and alumni and covers events for website, social media, newsletter, alumni magazine and other communications channels.
- Collaborates closely with the marketing and communications team to deliver content that enhances the college brand, generates leads and increases stakeholder engagement.
- Adheres to department procedures and systems.
- Keeps records reflecting his or her operational activities, costs of services, and inventory of productions.
- Monitors inventory of required supplies and equipment. Recommends purchase of new equipment and supplies and performs routine maintenance on photographic, sound, and related equipment.
- Assists with all aspects of video production including booking camera crews and talent, location management, and coordinating post-production services.
- Keeps a video database and library of completed and ongoing projects.
- Informs management of preventative maintenance and repairs on instructional media equipment and coordinates equipment to be outsourced for repair or surplus.
- Maintains a broad knowledge of state of art technology and systems.
- May supervise lower level staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and five (5) years of experience in related field; OR nine (9) years of experience in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Some experience guiding and supporting employees.
Salary:
$55,000 - $60,000

Begin time: 8:30 AM
End time: 5:00 PM
