Hallmark’s Experience Design (XD) Team is responsible for designing user-centered experiences to unify Hallmark's touchpoints that are focused on achieving our CX Vision of being the trusted, go-to source of Caring Connectors helping them to build, grow, and deepen their relationships. As a member of the team, you'll partner with a cross-discipline team of user experience, user interface, research, content, and development professionals to create exceptional, user-centered digital experiences that drive business growth, consumer satisfaction, and brand loyalty. The XD Team is consumer obsessed and a key voice for all our consumers. Designing with inclusive design best practices and high standards for accessibility holds us accountable for representing consumers from diverse walks of life including multi-cultural, different abilities, and various demographics.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

As a Sr UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for crafting user-centered experiences to support Hallmark’s website, account, and membership & loyalty programs. You will mentor other designers with your deep understanding of user-centered design principles and digital best practices to execute the overall product vision and Hallmark brand. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Business Stakeholders, and Researchers to create data-driven, end-to-end experiences and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences with presentations, journey maps, wireframes, user flows, competitive benchmarking, and user research.

This position does not involve managing or leading others.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional experience
  • At least 5 years' previous experience in user experience design, product design, interaction design, UI design, usability, or a design-focused role
  • Experience with Figma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume and portfolio will stand out if you have:

  • Experience working in an Agile product development environment, preferably within the retail industry, with a strong iterative user experience design process
  • Clear understanding of mobile-first and app design, with experience in designing for membership and loyalty programs (as showcased in portfolio)
  • Experience building and leveraging a Design System
  • An autonomous, self-starter who takes full ownership of their work, all the way through the process
  • Ability to deliver work on time with high attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles with the ability to propose design solutions based on best practices and usability principles
  • Proficiency in accessibility standards
  • Experience conducting user testing using various research methodologies
  • Workshop planning and facilitation experience

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • The salary range for this job is between $70,000 and $90,000. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
  • This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
