As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You’ll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. You’ll also be able to experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people.
The Prime Video Personalization & Discovery team is seeking a Senior Product Manager Tech to help deliver superior experiences to Prime Video customers worldwide. You will own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision, and develop product roadmaps to execute on that vision. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to optimize the Prime Video Personalization & Discovery customer experience. We are looking for an analytical, data-driven, resourceful, customer-focused individual who also has the ability to work independently but excels as part of a high-performing team. This individual will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while keeping customers' best interest in mind at all times.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience running experimentation in B2C environments to end customers, ideally in an entertainment field.
