ASRC Federal is currently seeking a Senior Web Developer to work on-site in anticipation of upcoming work in Tacoma, WA.
The Senior Web Developer shall perform the following:
- Build, design, and maintain all websites and software applications.
- Regulate exposure to business stakeholders and executive management as well as other authorities.
- Design, write, and edit website content.
- Create solutions for identified problems or bugs.
- Communicate with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily.
- Develop and validate test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface.
- Plan and deliver software platforms and products across multiple organizational units.
- Design assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc.
- Evaluate written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices.
- Maintain a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups.
- Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience as a Senior Web Developer, with a full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
- Possess a deep understanding of web development standards and best practices, and be able to apply this knowledge to develop robust, scalable web applications, including the Sitecore content management system.
- Proficiency in backend development: experience with server-side programming languages and frameworks, including ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, C#, and Java. Ability to design and develop database schemas and work with backend frameworks such as Node.js or Django.
- Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Ability to design and develop user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing.
- Strong problem-solving skills: ability to identify and solve complex technical problems quickly and effectively, troubleshoot issues, and debug code efficiently.
- Leadership and mentoring skills: strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide junior developers. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience planning and managing multiple tasks.
- Must be a US Citizen; successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust.
