Advertising Account Executive – Regional Sales

As we continue to expand our commerce media network, we’re seeking a Regional Sales Advertising Account Executive to focus on securing local and regional advertising partners.

Role Responsibilities

Local & Regional Sales Business Development

  • Actively prospect and secure new advertising partnerships with regional and local brands and agencies.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow advertising partnerships through outreach, relationship building, and sales presentations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers to unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline of regional prospects, ensuring consistent outreach and follow-up.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the regional sales team.

Campaign Strategy & Media Proposal Creation

  • Develop and pitch integrated, multi-channel media campaigns that meet the specific goals of regional clients.
  • Work with clients to understand their business objectives and craft campaigns that leverage our portfolio of media solutions.
  • Ensure campaigns are tailored to regional market needs, incorporating local insights.
  • Create compelling, data-driven sales pitches and media proposals.
  • Respond to RFPs and media briefs from regional agencies and brands.
  • Present media plans and proposals to clients clearly and engagingly.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with the Account team to craft detailed media proposals and ensure the seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery and optimization.
  • Work with product and marketing teams to align campaigns with company offerings.

Client Engagement & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional clients throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop strong, consultative relationships with clients by understanding their marketing objectives.
  • Provide clients with ongoing campaign performance reports.
  • Recommend optimization opportunities based on data-driven insights.

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales or business development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing.
  • Proven track record of selling digital media solutions.
  • History of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with regional and local brands.
  • Experience creating and presenting customized media proposals.
  • Knowledge of the regional advertising landscape and local market trends.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and media planning/analytics platforms.

Salary

The annual gross base salary range is $110,000.00 – $145,000.00 USD per year, plus commission based on performance.
