Position Overview

The Seasonal Warehouse Technician (WO) is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and any projects as assigned. The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Technician is shipping/receiving of orders, quality control, inventory control, and other warehouse related logistics. The Warehouse Technician will report to the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations or the Manager, Warehouse Operations.

This seasonal position will have a start date of February 2025 and an end date of June 2025. Seasonal full-time positions offer benefits, overtime, training, and promotional opportunities. At the end of the season in June 2025, you can be invited to stay full time or part time with Encore, based on business levels and performance.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Inbound/Outbound Order Processing:
    • Accurately receive, ship, and label product, pick-up product from inventoried locations, and pack orders efficiently and accurately for delivery to venues and/or other warehouses.
    • Perform basic quality control (QC) procedures, presentation of equipment, and inventory control.
  2. Logistics and Transportation:
    • Prepare and process shipments to ship small parcels, LTL, and via internal fleet.
    • Ability to operate industrial powered forklifts including (i.e. Sit-down, reach, stock picker, and powered pallet jack).
  3. Safety:
    • Perform daily checklists on forklifts and other equipment within the warehouse.
    • Participate in safety team initiatives.
  4. Warehouse Housekeeping:
    • Clean and maintain a safe work area.
    • Maintain equipment as necessary.
  5. Customer Service:
    • Ensure the highest standards of service while maintaining operational efficiency and a cohesive relationship with other departments.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of equipment.

Job Qualifications

  1. High School diploma/GED.
  2. 1 to 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
  3. Ability to lift over 50 lbs. independently.
  4. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  5. Strong communication skills with other team members, site leadership team, and internal and external customers.
  6. Organizational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Basic computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office.
  9. Experience using an RF-based WMS system (preferred).
  10. Experience operating industrial forklift equipment.

Work Environment

Work is performed at event venues as well as in a warehouse environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Warehouse, work will be completed in an environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
