  • Strong ability to adapt writing style and tone to different target audiences and platforms.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data to drive content decisions and improvements, which includes SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Comes to the table with an open mind and seeks to understand, learn and evolve.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

B2B Storytelling: Create engaging B2B content that inspires audiences to act and brings client stories to life. Whether you're creating brand content, bylined articles, case studies, video scripts or social media copy, this person will be a master storyteller. S/he will have a unique ability to turn even the most mundane topics into engaging stories that captivate target audiences and drive impactful business outcomes and reshapes industries.

Specialized Technical Writing & Thought Leadership: This role requires an ability to translate complex, highly technical subject matter into clear, engaging content that maintains scientific credibility. You will ghostwrite contributed articles, white papers, and thought leadership pieces on topics such as toxicology, small molecule oncology drugs, cell and gene therapy, and clinical trial innovation. Articles will be published under scientist and executive bylines for B2B audiences, including pharmaceutical executives and regulatory professionals.

Expert Interviewing & Source Development: Ability to interview subject matter experts (SMEs), including PhDs, MDs, and industry leaders, distilling technical conversations into compelling narratives without sacrificing accuracy. The ability to probe deeper, ask insightful follow-up questions, and uncover unique angles will be critical.

Strategize and Consult: Provide real-time counsel to clients, including the C-level. Develop and present new ideas to keep client campaigns fresh, effectively engaging and newsworthy. Proactively push clients to advance their PR and content programs to be more digitally integrated, include more compelling storytelling, and be more measurable. Contribute meaningful value to proposal development and presentations as a key strategist-offering ideas, a plan, and a clearly compelling competitive advantage to the client.

Integrated Program Execution: Develop content for multi-channel, integrated campaigns, including paid, owned (including social) and earned media and communications. Understand and advocate for reputation- and influence-building activities.

Social Media: Social media is a top channel for building relationships that add value to our clients. You will be responsible for developing relevant content for sharing on client social channels.

Program Collaboration: Partner with internal cross-functional teams (program strategist, account team and storytelling team) to ensure that our client programs are aligned to deliver on client objectives and exceed goals

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including technical writing experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Passion for working with manufacturing, technology and healthcare companies preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate scientific and regulatory topics into engaging, accessible thought leadership content.
  • Strong research skills and ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives.
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs and translating expert interviews into clear, high impact content.
  • Team player who is willing to wear multiple hats in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Can confidently balance quality content production with timely delivery.
  • Proficient in on-page SEO best practices.
  • Keen ability to problem solve.
  • Highly accountable with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel).
  • Design skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, other visual content experience) are a plus.
