Position Title: Marketing Department Intern
Reports To: Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist
Position Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week, 12 week period
Opportunities and Experiences: The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operations of the Bank's Internal Marketing Department. This role offers exposure to a variety of marketing functions, including content creation, digital marketing tools, event representation, and strategic planning. The intern will work on projects with a focus on social media, website development, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, providing a well-rounded introduction to the field of marketing.

Responsibilities:
- Represent the Bank at Community Events: Attend and actively participate in community events to promote the Bank's brand and build relationships.
- Assist with Website Development: Collaborate with the team to support the planning, design, and implementation of a new website.
- Organize and Manage Digital Marketing Tools: Maintain and optimize the organization of online marketing platforms and resources.
- Track and Maintain Marketing Assets: Conduct inventory of marketing materials, ensuring assets are up-to-date and readily accessible.
- Participate in Marketing Strategy Sessions: Contribute ideas and insights during team meetings to help shape marketing initiatives.
- Create Engaging Content: Develop compelling content for social media posts, web blogs, and other digital marketing channels.
- Assume additional duties as assigned.
Education
- College student with Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, or Advertising.
- Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, including posting, engagement, and analytics.
- Content Creation: Basic skills in graphic design, or photo editing, and copywriting for marketing materials.
- Web Development Basics: Familiarity with content management systems.
- Outgoing Personality: Comfortable interacting with others and representing the company at community events or networking opportunities.
- Basic SEO Knowledge: Understanding of search engine optimization to assist with content strategy and keyword research.
- Microsoft Office: Competence in tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to collaborate with teams and craft effective marketing messages.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adjust to new tools, projects, and strategies.
- Organization: Skills in time management and multitasking to handle multiple projects or deadlines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback.
