Our collaborative marketing team is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support day-to-day marketing operations, website, social media, and event marketing efforts. You’ll write engaging and inspiring content to raise visibility about top speakers and improve our data collection and targeting capabilities to increase lead generation. You’ll support marketing activities for our event production business line. The ideal candidate will support and manage projects that help the company grow. Day-to-day duties will include leading our social media content strategy, supporting all marketing needs for our event production business, content creation for emails, updating the website, customer audience segmentation insights, idea sharing, performance metrics measuring and reporting during weekly marketing meetings. You’ll thrive in this role if you are: Passionate about storytelling and writing dynamic copy Curious about data and what drives customer behavior A quick study with new technology Intrigued with analytics and measurement Interested in graphic design and video editing Extremely good with details A team player This position reports to the VP of Marketing, and you’ll be responsible for leading corporate company and event partnerships and developing lead acquisition events for our sales team with clients from Fortune 1000 companies and top associations. You will develop materials, engage in activities that support all three business lines (speaker, video, live event production), and contribute to efforts that generate client leads and help the company grow. Core responsibilities: Develop materials and engage in activities to support marketing staff work closely with marketing team to support daily social media, web and e-mail activities (40%) Lead LAI social media channels and scheduling platform (20%) Provide logistical and administrative support to marketing event pre-planning activities as needed (10%) Graphic design and content creation (10%) Website updates (10%) Other duties (i.e. budgeting, researching, site visits, etc.) (5%) Desired skills & experience: 1-2 years related experience in marketing or communications Good communication and problem-solving skills Good content creation and writing/editing skills Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with new technologies Simultaneously manage multiple projects Ability to meet deadlines Extremely organized and detail-oriented Excellent Excel skills including working in pivot tables and analyzing data Candidates should be comfortable commuting to the DC office.
