Job Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing, conducting, managing, and administering all marketing activities for the company.
  • Preparing marketing budgets, implementation, management, and coordination to establish sales and marketing quotas.
  • Conducting market research and planning including competitor analysis to stay current with similar products or services on the market.
  • Reviewing the current market trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies to enhance the ROI.
  • Analyzing sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns have been most effective.
  • Organizing company events at different company locations and representing the company at community functions, speaking engagements etc.
  • Collaborating with both the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients.
  • Creating and maintaining a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or services.
  • In consultation with the CSO, engage in hiring, promoting, disciplining, and/or terminating personnel reporting to this position.
  • Collaborating with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company and to ensure that the marketing strategy and information flows both horizontally and vertically throughout the organization.
  • In consultation with the CSO, review and negotiate contracts and agreements that exceed the prescribed minimum.
  • Ensuing the company is compliant with all government laws, regulations, and codes and making sure that the assets of the company are adequately protected.
Education:

Required: BS/BA in marketing, sales, or related field.

Experience:

Required: A minimum of five (5) of years marketing experience in a similar environment with experience partnering with marketing agencies.
