Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr IT Recruiter | AI Champion | Tenaciously Finding Needles in Haystacks Connecting Tech Talent with Integrity and Precision | Coffee Addict We are seeking a creative, strategic, and visionary Director of Visual Media to oversee and lead the creation of high-impact visual content that aligns with our luxury brand. The Director will manage the visual media team and production process for all marketing materials, ensuring every piece reflects the high standards and unique qualities of our luxury properties. This role requires expertise in photography, videography, design, and digital marketing, as well as a deep understanding of how visual media drives brand perception and buyer engagement in the luxury real estate market. Overview of Responsibilities: Management: Lead a team of industry-leading photographers, videographers, and other visual media professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback to foster their growth and development. Manage team time off, reimbursements (mileage), necessary travel, gear stipends, etc. Schedule quarterly individual meetings with each member of the visual media team. Conduct career development and performance reviews. Present to executive leadership team pay increase recommendations. Own and develop the visual media team dynamic and instill company culture. Oversee team training and team-building activities. Oversee training of new employees. Manage hiring and firing of visual media staff. Handle all discipline and HR issues for the team. Team Training and Development: Develop and own photography and videography best practices and virtual tour technology. Understand the longevity and efficiencies of visual media equipment in tandem with future goals, budgeting for technological advancement and/or maintenance. Develop and train the team on visual media editing, lighting, posing, and new processes. Own and/or oversee existing company guides, ensuring processes and procedures are documented. Visual Media Vision and Service Development: Explore, test, and develop new systems, services, and processes with the goal of placing the visual media department as a key competitive advantage among the brokerage’s in-house services. Develop the visual media pricing menu and roll-out strategy; current and ongoing. Alongside Chief Marketing Officer, develop and own visual media creative direction. Collaborate with the Development Marketing Director to create new development/construction visual media processes, rate cards, and billing processes. Create, produce, and deliver visual media assets for new development/construction partners with strategic collaboration from Development Marketing Director and Executive Leadership. Ensure new development/construction visual media assets are best-in-class, supporting sales goals, and positioning, as the leader in new construction marketing. Serve as the face and voice of visual media department, growing and building relationships with staff, sales associates, and executive leadership. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Present suggested budgets and predicted expenses, revenue based on pricing structure and volume. Quarterly reporting of department workload, volume, and profitability. Work closely with the VP of Operations to manage the storage procedures and requirements for all digital assets. Innovate consistently, keeping visual media positioned positively as a competitive advantage for sales. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Marketing, Media Production, or a related field. Extensive experience (8+ years) in visual media production, preferably within luxury real estate or high-end brand marketing. Expertise in photography, videography, editing, and content creation, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates luxury real estate or premium brand work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) , as well as other media production tools and software. Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms and strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and website content. Experience in managing and mentoring creative teams. Exceptional attention to detail with an eye for luxury aesthetics and visual storytelling. Ability to work under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive results.
