Position Overview

This full time Imaging Producer is responsible for capturing, illustrating, and promoting our brand essences, by creating imaging pieces, promos, show opens, and short-form audio for distribution via multiple platforms including, but not limited to on-air, web, app, video stream, and social media. This position will work closely with the Program Directors, the Audience Engagement Specialists, and other key management to clearly understand and articulate our brand message.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in radio imaging but must also be able to grow our brand messaging beyond terrestrial radio.

Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.
  • This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Seattle site.
What You Will Do:

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Creatively market the radio station, the talent, content, sponsorships and promotions by producing imaging pieces for air and digital platforms to grow brand loyalty and user engagement.
  • Work closely with Program Directors and the content team to stay atop the most important topical stories and best examples of station content to illustrate the brand.
  • Sift through on-air archives to find content that best illustrates our brands and distill that content down to short clips that can be repurposed for on-air promos.
  • Write copy for imaging promos to be voiced by our station voice talents, and then integrate those voice tracks with music, sound effects, and audio clips to promote our content.
  • Be an expert in Adobe Audition and/or Pro Tools for both waveform editing and multi-track editing.
  • Contribute to commercial production by recording talent, writing/voicing/producing spots, loading and scheduling spots and updating run dates as needed/directed.
  • Be familiar with FCC requirements for on-air Legal IDs.
  • Ability to understand and execute format philosophy and work with a team of other professionals in creating a distinctive sound.
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:
  • Proficiency in audio editing and multi-tracking using Adobe Audition and/or Pro Tools.
  • Proficiency and creativity in writing and copywriting skills for Imaging and Commercial Production.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; must organize and manage audio session files, folders, documents.
  • Ability to work with moderate supervision, confidential information and be a self-starter.
  • Capable and willing to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments.
  • A high level of proficiency and comfort with computers, software, and new technologies.
  • Understanding of current events - news and sports - both locally and nationally with the ability to identify compelling audio from shows to incorporate into imaging work.
  • Two (2) + years of experience in audio production / creative imaging role, preferred.
  • Voiceover skills / experience, preferred
  • Experience with broadcast logging software such as Stirlitz Media, preferred.
  • Experience with broadcast automation systems such as RCS Zetta, preferred.
  • Experience with workflow software such as vCreative xPPO, preferred.

Physical Demands
  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Compensation

27.00-35.00 hourly rate.

Hourly rate to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
