Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Located in the hustle of central Chicago, this national architecture and design firm is seeking a talented and motivated interior design professional to join their thriving studio.
This role requires a strong foundation in design principles, architectural concepts, and workplace design, in tandem with a commitment to collaborative teamwork and project success.
If you are particularly passionate about creating functional while aesthetically pleasing spaces and possess a stellar technical acumen, you are encouraged to apply!
Job Responsibilities include:
Collaborating on design projects while remaining sensitive to project parameters and timelines.
Conducting in-person field surveys and assessments of existing spaces, emphasizing code compliance.
Participating in spatial planning and selecting FF&E.
Contributing to the creation of client presentations, storyboards, and renderings.
Preparing 3D models, project documentation, and participating in the construction document process.
Assisting with construction administration tasks and in-person site visits.
Qualifications required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture.
1-4 years of experience within interior design/architectural projects, primarily workplaces, commercial interiors, and tenant improvements.
Proficient in Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and sustainable design principles.
Experience with Mural and other collaborative platforms is a big plus!
Ability to efficiently support multiple projects while taking initiative and ownership of your own tasks.
Salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package is provided including medical, dental, and vision insurance, hybrid working flexibility, and much more!
